The purpose of this project is to educate the underprivileged schools about Information Technology (IT). The project was conceived because of the lack or almost none exposure of IT from rural schools in primary and secondary.
The idea behind the whole initiative is to give students exposure to programming and those who are interested will be given the opportunity of a lifetime to learn to program and apply the knowledge to build and publish their work.
In the spirit of the adage "Charity begins at home", the initiative will be piloted in the schools in the vicinity of Bolobedu and the project will cover more schools after 3 to 5 years.
After our thorough research, we found that most learners who may possess abilities and curiosity to excel in IT are lost because of the lack of exposure.
Our content will be developed taking into consideration the learner's intelligent level, e.g. primary content won't be the same as the secondary content.
In a nutshell, our students will not wait till they are in university to learn about programming, we bring programming to them.
